My frustrations with commercial photography led me on a life-changing trip across India where I discovered a new way of seeing, photographing and believing.
In my photography I aim to show the beauty of the natural world in the hope to encourage others to protect and appreciate our Mother Earth. India's belief in nature and spirituality was something I felt compelled to photograph and it really developed my photographic eye to new ways of seeing. I found myself living the photograph rather than just pointing and clicking, taking the time to appreciate and learn from what was in front of my lens. This initial trip is just the beginning and I wish to continue exploring, learning and celebrating our planet, and the inherent connections between humans and nature.
During a second trip to Rishikesh, India, I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Amit Payal at Yogkulam Yoga School. I have a Yoga Alliance certification in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Yoga has given me so much and I just want to share this experience with others through teaching and learning together.
If you would like to work with me, or find out more information about private or group yoga lessons, I would love to hear from you!
